Selection Criteria
The team will be selected based on the following criteria
1. On the rating of the previous years South Island Circuit.
2. On the rating of the current years South Island Circuit.
3. On selectors discretion on other worthy South Island circuit competitors.
The selector will be the SISA committee under guidance of a Head Selector who will be appointed each year by the SISA committee.
Goals and Objectives
The aim of this team is to provide talented South Island circuit competitors the opportunity to compete at a National level. It is recognised that the cost of travel to North Island events prevents many South Island surfers competing at National events.
The aim is to encourage surfers who would not normally have the opportunity to compete at this level the chance to do so.
Appeals
Any South Island circuit competitor can appeal the selection decisions. Appeals need to be in writing made through the surfers boardriding club. Appeals need to be sent to South Island Surf Association committee, P.O. Box 18675 , Christchurch 8083 or email info@sisa.co.nz
