It's concerning for the South Island that 23 Registered Judges and only Three Re-registered doesn't look good for any National comps coming down here!!!! It's time to renew your SNZ/ISA Judging registrations for 2010. All judges seeking paid work at SNZ and ISA International events will need to be registered. Even if you are not intending to judge this year it is still recommended you pay the minimum Level 1 registration to keep yourselves on the SNZ and ISA databases. The ISA registration levels are listed below. The cut off date for registrations is the 9th January. SNZ Judge Level 1 $25 per year For those judges who have attended a recent course but judged less than 20 hours. You will be registered with SNZ and the ISA (International Surfing Association) as an accredited Level 1 official. This will enable you to officiate at club and national events. You are not required to submit a record of judging hours to maintain this minimum accreditation level ,how-ever we ask that you maintain your registration each year. Payment of your registration fee will reinstate you on the National Officials database and ISA database and you will receive a personalised ISA Judges ID card, news and information. SNZ Judge Level 2 $35 per year You will have judged a minimum of 20 hours under a SNZ accredited Head Judge. You will be registered as a Level 2 official with SNZ and the ISA. This will enable you to officiate at regional and national sanctioned surfing events. Payment of your registration fee will reinstate you on the SNZ National Officials database and ISA database and you will receive the current ASP Australasia rulebook, personalised ISA Judges ID card, news and information. You will also be eligible for the International Judges Exchange Program. You will be expected to keep a log of all your judging hours as you may be asked to present them to the SNZ Judging Manager. International Judge Level 3 $45 per year You will have judged over 300 hours and/or have judged an ISA, WQS or ASP sanctioned event. You will be registered as an International Level 3 Judge with SNZ and the ISA This will enable you to officiate at regional, National and International surfing events and be eligible for the International Exchange Program. Payment of your registration fee will reinstate you on the National and International Officials (ISA) database and you will receive the current ASP Australasia rulebook, Personalised International Judges ID card, news and information. You will be required to keep a log of all your judging hours and may be asked to present them to the SNZ Judging Manger at the next event. The Level 3 registration is recommended for all judges who are looking to make a career out of judging or who wish to be selected for international events. All registrations will be valid from the 1st January till the 31st December per calendar year. Please allow 2-3 weeks from registration payment to receive your ISA personalized identification card. Payments must be made by internet banking to Elite Surf Coaching Ltd, ASB account number 12 -3217-0100073 00. Please reference your full name and ISA registration Level (in words one, two or three) For example Ref. LeeRyanthree (if your name is Lee Ryan and you are registering as a level 3 judge) Please also provide you full postal address. I have attached the 2010 contest calendar.
